Direct Care Professional/Supportive Instructor:

Rate of Pay: $12.00 an hour with a pay increase to $12.27 at 120 days and another increase to $12.55 at one year.

MARCH, Inc. of Manchester is looking for passionate, respectful and caring direct support professionals to work all shifts at our homes in Vernon, Manchester and Columbia.  These positions involve assisting with personal hygiene, cooking, driving, cleaning, assisting individuals in the community with recreational and social activities and medical appointments, completing documentation and medication administration. Residential Supervisor

Under the direction of the Director of Services, the Residential Supervisor is responsible for the oversight of the day to day operations of  MARCH residential programs, including review and ongoing monitoring of all services provided to the individuals served by the agency.  The Residential Supervisor will be responsible for the supervision of the Support Managers and oversight of coaching and progressive discipline.  The Residential Supervisor assures all homes/programs are functioning well and all data/documentation is consistently being collected.  The person in this position will spend the majority of their time in the homes evaluating and supporting the programs and support managers to assure quality services are being provided.

Responsibilities Include:

Handle emergency and crisis situations, participate in the administrative on-call rotation, hire, train supervise and evaluate support managers, oversee all disciplinary action, encourage and maintain positive family, guardian, DDS, interagency and community relationships, ensure compliance with agency policies, procedures, standards and DDS requirements.


Experience in the field of ID/DD in a management/supervisory role, Knowledge of DDS regulations/policies and procedures, superior organizational, interpersonal, computer and time management skills, must have the ability to work on multiple tasks and meet deadlines/outcomes, must be self-directed and motivated and demonstrate a positive attitude toward work and the agency’s mission and goals.

Support Manager

The Support Manager oversees all aspects of the residential program supporting individuals with intellectual disabilities.  Support Managers must have excellent written and verbal communication skills, computer skills and time management skills.  The person in this position must be self motivated, organized, flexible and able to work independently while being a motivating part of the team.  Supervisory experience  is strongly preferred.  MARCH is looking for a compassionate person to assure the individuals we support participate in their community to the best of their ability and desire and that they have the opportunity to  lead happy and healthy lives.

Supportive Instructor

To provide assistance and support to individuals in a respectful manner in accordance with their individualized support plans.

Responsibilities include:

Documentation, Housekeeping, Meal Planning and preparation, attending medical appointments, leisure time planning, transportation and supporting the individuals in all areas of daily living.
